RIYADH: Saudi foreign minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan spoke to his counterparts from the UAE and Egypt on Sunday, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

During a phone call with the Emirati foreign minister, Prince Faisal and Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan discussed action being taken after the attacks on a nuclear plant in the UAE, SPA added. Prince Faisal also condemned the attack.

In a call with Egypt's Badr Abdelatty, the Saudi minister discussed regional developments and joint efforts to de-escalate tensions and support diplomatic solutions to the Middle East conflict, including Pakistani mediation efforts between the US and Iran.
