Taking to X, a user named Solyricon shared an anecdote of how one of their ex-colleagues used to keep snacks at her desk for everyone. Not only snacks, she had something for every emergency. She had medicine for headaches, granola bars for people who somehow missed a meal etc. Due to her kindness and generosity, she was called the “office mum.”One day she stopped restocking her drawer. “By Thursday people were hovering around her desk asking, “Wait, you don’t have anything?” She laughed and said, “No, I got tired of restocking it.” The weird part was how disappointed everyone looked…” wrote the X user.
