Enoki mushrooms sold in multiple states are under an active recall over a potential listeria monocytogenes contamination, according to two notices posted by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.The recall covers two brands of enoki mushrooms, according to the notices, which were sold in 150-gram bags and had product samples that tested positive for listeria bacteria. The affected products include IQ Enoki Mushrooms with code "UI775," as well as HH Fresh Trading Enoki Mushrooms with code "4711498860002."The FDA says the HH Fresh Trading Enoki Mushrooms were sold at local wholesalers in Florida and Texas exclusively.Officials are urging consumers who bought the recalled enoki mushrooms to return them to their place of purchase for a full refund.What are the symptoms of listeria poisoning?Listeria poisoning is a type of food-based illness caused by listeria monocytogenes, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
