Over time, the director began noticing how cinematic and emotionally powerful the boy’s life felt. “He used to win matches single-handedly. I felt his personality and journey had the potential for a powerful cinematic character. Buchi Babu revealed that he completed much of the script while spending time at a temple and driving around Hyderabad’s Outer Ring Road. He credited director Sukumar for motivating him during the process.
