We’ve all had beauty horror stories. For gold-medal-winning gymnast Jordan Chiles, she remembers the beauty horror story that changed how her skin was forever. Applying peanut butter on her face, not as a quick fix for anything but just as a game. “I was 10 or 11 years old, and we were playing truth or dare at one of the National team camps. I got a dare: Apply yogurt or peanut butter on my face,” Chiles says. There was no yogurt around, so there she was slathering peanut butter on her skin. Before then, Chiles remembers having flawless, clear skin.
