The Athens Open Air Film Festival, powered by PPC, alongside Rosebud.21 and Heretic, will show the Greek premiere of “The Birthday Party,” a psychological drama starring Willem Dafoe. Directed by Miguel Angel Jimenez and based on the novel by Greek author Panos Karnezis, the film unfolds at a lavish island celebration in the late 1970s, where family power struggles and hidden agendas erupt into conflict.
