In Dnipropetrovsk region on May 16, as of 18:30, Russian occupiers carried out more than 70 attacks, resulting in one person killed and nine injured, including two children.

According to Ukrinform, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha, reported this on Telegram.

"More than 70 times the enemy attacked two districts of the region using drones, artillery, and missiles," the regional head wrote.

He clarified that in the Nikopol district, the city of Nikopol, as well as the Marhanets, Pokrovske, Chervonohryhorivka, and Myrove communities, came under fire. Infrastructure, administrative buildings, a gas station, a kindergarten, shops, apartment blocks, private houses, outbuildings, and cars were damaged.
