PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur — Gov. Divina Grace Yu of Zamboanga del Sur on Saturday, May 16, 2026, defended her children in Congress after they signed in favor of the impeachment complaint against Vice President Sara Duterte.

Yu stood by 1st District Rep. Joseph Kim Yu, 2nd District Rep. Jeyzel Victoria Yu, and her niece, One Coop party-list Rep. Maria Kristina Bana-Glepa, amid allegations that lawmakers were allegedly offered cash in exchange for their votes.

She dismissed the claims as an attempt to discredit members of her family in the House of Representatives.
