MOSCOW, May 16. /TASS/. Moscow is outraged by the level of US cynicism in tightening the blockade of Cuba while claiming readiness for dialogue, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov told journalists.
"This is a cynical and blatant manifestation of the Monroe Doctrine," he said, adding that Russia "stands shoulder to shoulder with Cuba" and supports a state that provides Russia with valuable support on international platforms.
Ryabkov noted that Russia is aware of the trip of CIA representatives to Cuba and is in constant contact with Havana.
