For the Devil Wears Prada 2 soundtrack, Lady Gaga wrote and recorded three new songs. The first of that trio, "Runway," was selected as the album's lead single, and it was released shortly before the film became a box office smash. "Runway" saw Gaga team up with hip-hop superstar Doechii, and the two turned it into a proper hit on multiple Billboard charts.

Shortly after the release of the fashion-forward film's soundtrack, one of the other two tracks, "Shape of a Woman," debuts on multiple rankings in the United States, and it even earns Gaga another top 10 smash.
