Kenya’s all-female 4x4 off-road team, Team Zambarau, has officially flagged off its “Heels-on-Wheels, Car No. 50” entry ahead of the 2026 Rhino Charge competition, reaffirming its commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable ecosystems.

The team, which competes in a modified classic Range Rover, will take part in the 37th edition of the iconic endurance event set for May 29–31, 2026, in Samburu County.

The annual challenge brings together 65 teams navigating some of Kenya’s most rugged, trackless terrain to raise funds for conservation through the Rhino Ark Kenya Charitable Trust.

At an event held at the National Museums of Kenya in Nairobi on May 14, 2026, Team Zambarau received financial support from partners including Kenya Wine Agencies Limited (KWAL), which donated Sh500,000, and P&L Consulting Group, which contributed Sh150,000.
