Washington AG alleges Providence failed to accommodate pregnant, nursing employees

Providence is facing a lawsuit from the state of Washington, which alleges the large nonprofit system fell short on accommodating its pregnant and nursing employees.  | A lawsuit brought this week by the state alleges the nonprofit system "regularly" refused, delayed or failed to implement accommodations for pregnant and nursing employees as required by law, and that some of those employees "experienced retaliation" following their requests.
