The Apple Watch Series has a smoother and more modern aesthetic than the previous generation thanks to the new Liquid Glass user interface. Apple has designed the new UI to have more fluid animations and make information be easier to scan at a quick glance. The Smart Stack widgets also received an update which conveniently brings forward bits of info you might find helpful like your activity stats, daily reminders, or weather updates at the moment they’d become most useful.

One fun update is the brand new gesture controls. You can now dismiss notifications of navigate different menus by just flicking your wrist—great for when you’re other hand is otherwise occupied.
