SASSA announces important social grant payment dates for June 2026.
The South African Social Security Agency has confirmed the official payment schedule for social grants for June 2026, with disbursements set to begin in the first week of the month.
The agency said the staggered payment system remains in place to reduce pressure on payment points, retailers and ATMs, and to ensure smoother access for beneficiaries nationwide.

SASSA emphasised that beneficiaries do not need to withdraw funds immediately after payment, as money remains safely in accounts once deposited.
