The suspects were detained during coordinated immigration raids conducted earlier this month at a villa in Mengwi, Badung Regency, and a hotel in Denpasar, officials said in press conference last week as quoted by The Jakarta Post.

Head of the Denpasar Immigration Office, R. Haryo Sakti, said investigators launched the operation after discovering a website allegedly promoting sexual services involving foreign nationals staying in Bali.

During the raid at the villa in Mengwi, officers arrested a 22-year-old Russian woman and a 21-year-old Nigerian woman. In a separate operation at a hotel in Denpasar, authorities detained another Russian national, Antara News Agency reported.

Immigration data showed that all three women entered Indonesia using tourist visas but were allegedly involved in unlawful commercial activities.

The latest arrests are part of a broader crackdown on immigration and morality-related violations involving foreign nationals in Bali in recent months.
