Apple is planning a huge Apple Card sign-up bonus for new customers as soon as next week. If you sign up for a new Apple Card, you’ll basically get a new pair of AirPods Pro 3 for free. Here’s how it’ll work.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the promotion will kick off as soon as next week in Apple’s retail stores. Gurman posted on social media:
Apple is planning a pretty big Apple Card sign-up incentive for as early as next week in retail stores: if you sign up for a new card, buy AirPods Pro 3, then you’ll get $249 cash back. In other words, if you get an Apple Card, you get free AirPods.
It’s unclear if the promotion will also be available online. Gurman’s post seems to suggest you’ll need to head to your local Apple Store to take advantage of it, though.
Apple regularly offers sign-up bonuses for new Apple Card customers, but they are far less lucrative than this and oftentimes require a referral from a current Apple Card user. As Gurman says, this is essentially a free pair of AirPods Pro 3 in exchange for opening an Apple Card.
