Marcin Kierwiński, Poland's Minister of the Interior and Administration, has said that five Polish citizens aged between 15 and 18 had been detained in connection with the brutal beating of three Ukrainian teenagers in Warsaw.

Details: Police had previously reported that on 7 May, three Ukrainian teenagers were attacked on the Świętokrzyski Bridge in Warsaw. One of the victims sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital. In a statement published on 11 May, police stressed that the current findings and evidence collected so far did not indicate that the incident was motivated by nationalism.
"Zero tolerance for aggression. Several days ago, three teenage Ukrainian citizens were brutally beaten on the Świętokrzyski Bridge in Warsaw. In connection with the attack, police detained five people, Polish citizens aged 15-18. Further procedural actions are ongoing," the interior minister said.
