When President Donald Trump rolled out his plan to levy a 100% tariff rate on patented pharmaceutical products and ingredients imported into the United States, it included a provision that drugmake | To secure an exemption from 100% tariffs on imported drugs to the U.S., companies that have not made MFN pricing deals with the government will be required to provide detailed information on their investment and production plans, according to documents released Wednesday by the Deaprtment of Commerce. Companies that gain exemptions will pay a 20% tariff fee.
