Are you or a loved one currently living in a nursing home, assisted living facility or group home? USA TODAY wants to hear from you.

More than 1.5 million people live in long-term care facilities in the United States, up 8% from 2010, according to 2020 Census data. As the senior population grows, the need for care will grow, too. A Brookings Metro analysis of U.S. Census Bureau data estimates that the nation’s 80-plus population will double from 14.7 million in 2025 to 29.4 million in 2045.

Solutions to the care crisis: These people know how to fix the caregiving crisis. Is it doable?

Of course, long-term care isn't exclusive to seniors. Many other people with care needs, from children to young adults and beyond, live in group homes in the United States.

As part of its ongoing coverage of caregiving and the struggles caregivers face, USA TODAY is seeking stories about care facilities. USA TODAY wants to hear from residents and their family members about their experiences in senior living facilities, assisted living, memory care centers and other group homes for seniors and non-seniors alike.
