MOSCOW, May 15. /TASS/. The Kiev regime sought to use foreign instigators to disrupt Victory Day celebrations in Russia and other countries, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.
"We are also aware of the Kiev regime’s attempts to use foreign instigators - mostly from the Ukrainian World Congress - to disrupt celebrations in other countries. In pursuit of these aims, propaganda cliches were used, which claimed that Moscow had allegedly monopolized the Victory, while waging ‘its war of aggression,’ and ‘terrorizing people in the occupied territories'," the Russian diplomat pointed out.
"Attempts were also made to deny the grassroots nature of the Immortal Regiment activity, claiming that it was being ‘orchestrated by the authorities’ who sought "to undermine the foundations of international security,’ and that photos of Red Army soldiers and homefront workers had been generated by artificial intelligence," Zakharova added.
