Coursera and Udemy, two major online learning companies, have finalized their merger, first announced in December. Leaders say combining forces will save the companies $115 million in operating costs over the next two years and allow them to invest in and scale AI innovations. Coursera’s and Udemy’s platforms combined are a juggernaut that includes about 290 million learners, 95,000 instructors and hundreds of industry and university partners.
