Google has filed to develop a data center campus outside Richmond, Virginia.

The search giant has filed an application with the US Army Corps of Engineers’ Norfolk District for Project Loch.

Located outside Richmond in Chesterfield County, site plans suggest three buildings and three on-site substations.

The campus is located near Midlothian on land west of Route 288 and south of Route 60, between Otterdale Road and Old Hundred Road.
