Middle East Monitor (MEMO) is pleased to announce the opening of submissions for the Palestine Book Awards 2026, marking the Awards’ 15th consecutive year of celebrating outstanding literature on Palestine.

Publishers, authors, and members of the public are invited to submit eligible titles for consideration across a range of categories, including Academic, Translation, Creative, Memoir, and Social History.

At a time of continued global attention on Palestine, the Palestine Book Awards remain a vital platform for amplifying Palestinian voices, histories, and lived experiences. Through this annual celebration of books and scholarship, MEMO seeks to recognise works that contribute meaningfully to understanding Palestine, challenge dominant narratives, and preserve its cultural and political history.

To be eligible, books must be written in English, focus on Palestine, and have been published between May 2025 and April 2026.

Following the submission period, the judging panel will review all entries, with a shortlist announced in July. Winners will be revealed at an awards ceremony later in the year, attended by authors, publishers, journalists, academics, and public figures.
