Apex Mining budgets $300M for 3-year expansion plan

MANILA, Philippines – Apex Mining Co. Inc. on Thursday said it will earmark $300 million over the next three years to develop a copper project in Davao de Oro and other expansion projects in the pipeline.

The Razon Group’s mining business said its capital expenditure will be allotted for the development and construction of the copper project under subsidiary Asia Alliance Mining Resources Corp. (AAMRC).

“This amount represents the total capex required prior to commercial operations and is expected to be disbursed evenly over the next three years,” Apex Mining said in a disclosure.
