The Athletic has live coverage of the 2026 NFL schedule release.
The NFL will release the 2026 schedules for all 32 teams at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday. Here is what we know about the Detroit Lions’ schedule so far.
Detroit will play the New England Patriots on Nov. 15 at 9:30 a.m., in Munich, Germany, at Allianz Arena. The Week 10 matchup is the Lions’ first international game since they played the Kansas City Chiefs in London in 2015.
The Lions will play each team from the NFC South and AFC East, as well as the last-place teams in 2025 from the NFC West (Arizona Cardinals), NFC East (New York Giants) and AFC South (Tennessee Titans). Detroit will also see its NFC North division rivals twice, once on the road and once at Ford Field, as part of its 17-game schedule.
