RIYADH: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and his Greek counterpart Giorgos Gerapetritis co-chaired a Saudi-Greek strategic partnership council meeting in Athens on Thursday.
During the meeting, they reviewed relations between their countries, highlighted the progress achieved in various fields of cooperation, and discussed ways to strengthen and develop these relations, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The ministers also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of common concern and emphasized the importance of enhancing coordination and political consultation to support efforts aimed at promoting regional and international security and stability.
Earlier, the ministers signed an agreement on visa exemption for holders of Saudi and Greek diplomatic, special, and service passports.
Prince Faisal also visited Spain and the UK on official visits this week.
