May 14 (UPI) -- A California woman captured video of the moment her toddler came face-to-face with a bobcat through the sliding glass door of their home.
Kaylee Brandenberger posted a video to social media showing her toddler and the bobcat looking at one another through the glass door at the family's home in the Upper Waterman Canyon neighborhood of San Bernardino.
The toddler appears fascinated with the feline, which in turn stares back at the child at wags its tail.
Bobcats resemble house cats, but can grow to about twice the size of the common pets and have been known to take down prey as large as a small deer. They typically avoid interaction with humans.
