Leaders of some of Thailand’s biggest businesses will meet with the government on Friday to share their concerns and ideas about revitalising the economy, according to government spokeswoman Rachada Dhnadirek. The forum, titled “Entrepreneurs Speak, Government Listens”, will collect input from the private sector to help jointly drive economic development, she said on Thursday.
The event will mark the first time the government has formally provided a platform for direct dialogue with private-sector representatives, Ms Rachada noted.
She said the government is setting out to work hand in hand with businesses to steer the economy forward.
