Advanced Info Service (AIS) is boosting its postpaid service business by introducing AIS 5G VIP Ultra, a premium and personalised postpaid package for VIP clients. The move represe—nts the company's greater focus on postpaid customers, its main average revenue per user (ARPU) contributor.
According to Kanatip Theerateep, head of product marketing and the postpaid unit at AIS, this segment is not price-sensitive, but its members have strong demands, particularly in terms of how they spend their time on activities and work, as well as in their expectations for experience, differentiation, and the credibility of products and services.
The company said the AIS 5G VIP Ultra package introduces a new definition of VIP speed and privileges, representing the next level of connectivity and delivering a 5G internet experience that is stronger, faster, and more reliable.
By utilising the power of network and data to create experiences that fit the lifestyles of various types of customers, the company has identified a subset of consumers who use voice calls, digital access, and daily services extensively based on consumption statistics, he added.
Through network capacity slicing, the package also improves the 5G network experience, giving users more confidence to utilise the network around-the-clock, even in high-traffic locations as if they are in "boost" mode at all times.
