Oil prices took a breather on Wednesday, with Brent crude dropping about 1.2% but remaining above $100 a barrel as markets turned towards US President Donald Trump’s high-stakes talks with the president of China, the biggest buyer of Iranian oil and the US’s largest economic rival.
