Tayler Holder is protecting his peace, revealing that he's taking a step back from performing.

The country musician, 28, apologized to fans for cancelling his upcoming "When No One's Around" tour as he grapples with his mental health over the past several months "in ways that I can no longer ignore," he said in a May 12 Instagram post. He called the decision one of the hardest he's ever had to make.

"I’ve tried for a while now to put my head down and just push through this and give everything I have to the music and the people who support me, but truthfully, I’ve reached my limit right now and I need to take a step back and focus on getting healthy," Holder wrote in the post.

The former TikTok star said he is aware fans made plans and spent money to see him, writing that he is "deeply sorry for the disappointment this causes."

"I’m doing everything I’ve ever dreamed of and I still feel so lonely, still feel so unfulfilled. Performing for you guys is the greatest privilege of my life, and this decision was not made lightly," he said.
