Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang boarded Air Force One as a last-minute addition to President Donald Trump’s delegation Tuesday night for a highly anticipated summit with Chinese leader Xi Jinping.
The Nvidia CEO, a Trump ally who has repeatedly lobbied Congress and the administration on loosening export controls on AI semiconductors, was notably not included on the list of CEOs invited to attend the summit that was circulated Monday. Other executives invited to the summit that takes place Thursday and Friday include Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Apple CEO Tim Cook and Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon.
