n 2023, when attending business school at Harvard, friends Brian Elliott and Sid Pardeshi were introduced to a small Boston bakery that wanted an app for customers to place orders. Its owners had planned to spend $300,000 and six months on the project, and the pair offered to take it on as part of a consulting project for school.
They didn’t need six months. ChatGPT had just been released, and the two realized they could combine the strengths of multiple AI models to speed up development. They built the app in a single weekend.
