Adobe’s Premiere app is finally heading to Android, with Google providing a slightly more specific timeline compared to what Adobe previously left us with.
The widely used video editing app Adobe Premiere was announced for iPhone last year, with a later update bringing support for some custom YouTube Shorts integration. When it debuted, it was iOS-only, and it remains that way today.
Adobe only said that Premiere for Android was “in development” last year, without anything else to add.
Google now says that Adobe Premiere for Android is coming “soon” alongside the announcement of native tools in Android 17 aimed at content creation.
