We are quickly approaching the 1-year anniversary of the Nintendo Classics GameCube library on Switch 2. While have had a relatively steady stream of titles added since then, it has been two months since Nintendo delivered a new title to the service and it’s time to check in on all of the confirmed titles and what the next Game Cube game will be.

When Nintendo first unveiled the Switch 2 Game Cube library it delivered three titles and showed off a host of others that were to be expected over time. Since then it has mostly delivered on that promise having now released all but two of the games mentioned in that debut trailer.

More specifically, and after it finally unleashed Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness back in mid March, the only two titles Nintendo initially promised that haven’t arrived yet are Pokémon Colosseum and Super Mario Sunshine.

One would have expected that both Gale of Darkness and Colosseum would have landed as part of the Pokémon Day and 30th anniversary celebrations over the last couple months, so it’s really anyone’s guess on what’s going on with Colosseum – perhaps Nintendo is waiting on the Gen 10 titles or some other special event tied to another pocket monster release.
