Saudi ambassador to US encourages students at international science, engineering fair
RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to the US Princess Reema bint Bandar has held a virtual meeting with the Saudi science and engineering team participating in the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair in Phoenix, Arizona.
The meeting was part of efforts to support and encourage Saudi students representing the Kingdom at the world’s largest pre-university research and innovation forum, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The fair brings together more than 1,700 students in 22 scientific fields from about 70 countries, along with 1,200 judges evaluating the projects.
Princess Reema said the Saudi students were ambassadors of Saudi Arabia and stressed the importance of representing it with scientific excellence, strong conduct, and national values that reflected the Kingdom’s culture.
