The Los Angeles Dodgers dropped their fourth game in a row on Tuesday, falling to the division rival San Francisco Giants as their star-studded batting order suddenly goes cold.
The team hasn’t scored more than three runs in its last five games and there appears to be plenty of blame to go around.
“They’ve scored two runs or fewer in 8 of their last 13. It has not been a fun run of baseball lately for the back-to-back champs,” The Athletic’s Katie Woo noted on X, formerly Twitter, after Tuesday’s loss. “The last time the Dodgers lost four straight games by at least four runs was July 1-4, 1936.”
