The Pentagon began releasing files and images depicting what it says are “unidentified anomalous phenomena” on Friday in a release that seems short on bombshell revelations, though President Donald Trump’s allies have vowed more big releases are coming.

The Pentagon released more than 160 files relating to “unidentified anomalous phenomena” Friday morning in a UFO page on the Department of Defense’s website, though it says the government is “unable to make a definitive determination on the nature of the observed phenomena.”

The apparent lack of bombshell revelations has disappointed some critics—some of whom have alleged the release of the UFO files is meant to distract from other issues, like the war in Iran or the Epstein files.
