May 13 (UPI) -- President Donald Trump arrived in Beijing on Wednesday for a two-day meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping to discuss trade.
Trump was joined by Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, as well as U.S. business leaders Tim Cook, Elon Musk and Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang. The president was welcomed by Vice President Han Zheng.
U.S. Ambassador to China David Perdue, Chinese Ambassador to the United States Xie Feng and China's executive vice minister of foreign affairs Ma Zhaoxu were also there for the welcome ceremony.
The president landed in Beijing at about 7:50 a.m. EST aboard Air Force One. His son Eric Trump and daughter-in-law Lara Trump are also along for the trip.
