May 12 (UPI) -- Dates for a Kansas City Chiefs-Denver Broncos primetime game and Buffalo Bills' new stadium regular-season debut were announced Tuesday through NFL schedule teasers.

The Chiefs will host the Broncos in the first Monday Night Football matchup of 2026 as part of the Week 1 slate. The AFC West divisional game will kick off at 8 p.m. EDT Sept. 14 in Kansas City, Mo. The game will air on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes.

The Bills will host the Detroit Lions in their first game at the new, $2.1 billion Highmark Stadium. That Week 2 meeting will be the first Thursday Night Football broadcast of the season and will kick off at 8:15 p.m. Sept. 16 in Orchard Park, N.Y. and air on Prime Video.

Full NFL schedules will be revealed at 8 p.m. Thursday on NFL Network, ESPN2, the ESPN app and NFL+. International series meetings will be announced at 9 a.m. Thursday on Good Morning America.

The NFL announced Monday that the New York Giants will host the rival Dallas Cowboys in the first Sunday Night Football matchup of 2026. That NFC East divisional matchup will kick off at 8:20 p.m. Sept. 13 in East Rutherford, N.J. and air on NBC and Peacock.
