Pete Wild won one, drew three and lost six of his 10 games as Tranmere interim manager

Tranmere Rovers have said the "process of appointing a new manager is under way" after confirming boss Pete Wild has left the League Two club at the end of his short-term deal.

Wild took over on an interim basis in March after the sacking of Andy Crosby.

Rovers won just one of their 10 games under Wild and avoided relegation by two points.

Adam Temple, who was Wild's assistant, has also departed.
