May 11 (UPI) -- Police responding to a situation inside the chimney of a Pennsylvania home ended up rescuing three baby raccoons stuck in the stack.

The Lansdale Borough Police Department said on social media that three officers were dispatched to a home where the kits were repoted stuck in the chimney.

"The little critters were safely rescued without injury and given a helping hand back to safety," the post said.

The raccoon kits were taken to the Aark Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center for care and rehabilitation.
