Libraries are partnering with a cycling charity to offer free bicycle safety checks in a bid to get more people on their bikes.
The initiative between Libraries Unlimited and Ride On will allow people to book free 30 minute sessions at four libraries in Devon in May and June.
The sessions in Seaton, Holsworthy, Exmouth, and Bovey Tracey are designed to check bikes for safety and performance, and teach people how to maintain their bikes.
Alex Kittow, Libraries Unlimited CEO, said the aim of the sessions was to help people "get back on their bikes, save money and make more sustainable choices".
Kittow said: "Our libraries are so much more than books, they are trusted spaces where people can build confidence, learn new skills and make changes that improve their wellbeing."
