MAGA Congressman Lashes Out At Ex-Wife's Senator Dad Over Abuse AllegationRep. Max Miller (R-Ohio) on Friday lashed out at his ex-wife's dad, who happens to be Sen. Bernie Moreno (R-Ohio), for allegedly funding his daughter's "malicious campaign" to ruin his life."It is unfortunate that @berniemoreno continues to fund and enable his daughter’s malicious campaign to ruin my life despite his knowledge of her mental health issues," Miller wrote on X. "Bernie, this must be distracting from your job. These antics harm your own grandchild. Anytime you want to put a stop to this, you can."Miller, a second-term congressman who served in multiple roles in the first Donald Trump administration, married Emily Moreno in 2022, with Trump speaking at the reception. Miller filed for divorce two years later, and it's been messy ever since. The Daily Mail reported this week that Emily Moreno accused Miller in court documents of grabbing and hitting her during a custody exchange of their daughter in February of this year, and that Miller hurled boiling water at her in 2024. Miller responded Thursday with a series of X posts, including one with a video he said showed an amicable exchange the day of the alleged assault. "The moral of the story is this. My ex-wife needs help. She is more focused on hurting me than loving our child," Miller wrote Thursday.
