Former President Barack Obama teased an upcoming HBO Max show featuring comedian Larry David, saying that “nothing” had prepared him for working with the longtime comedian.
Obama’s teasing comments came as the former president announced a new show called “Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness,” in a video on HBO Max’s account on X.
“I have sat across the table from some of the world’s most difficult leaders and wrestled with some of the globe’s most intractable problems,” Obama said. “Nothing has prepared me for working with Larry David. I’m just a producer on this show, so I don’t have to deal with him day-to-day, but still, it’s a lot.”
According to a news release from HBO’s parent company Warner Bros. Discovery, the new show is set to premiere June 26 on HBO Max and feature David as well as other “Curb Your Enthusiasm” actors and special guests.
