Actor C. Joseph Vijay’s Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) is inching closer towards forming the next government in Tamil Nadu with the CPI and CPI(M), which have two Assembly seats each, deciding to extend unconditional support to his party on Friday (May 8, 2026) evening.
Sources said the decision to offer support to TVK was taken following internal consultation in both parties. It is expected that the Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK), which has two seats, also could offer its support to the TVK this evening.
