United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Thursday posted photo of his meeting with Pope Leo XIV and said the US and the Vatican shared a common commitment to peace and dignity.
"Meeting with the Pope to underscore our shared commitment to promoting peace and human dignity," wrote Rubio on his X account after his visit to the pope, posting several photos, including one with his wife, Jeanette Dousdebes, of Colombian origin, wearing a veil and a black dress.
Rubio is Catholic and the father of four children.
