Dolly Parton has cancelled her forthcoming Las Vegas residency as she undergoes treatment for health issues.
In a statement posted on her social media accounts, the 80-year-old country music star said she has been "responding really well to meds and treatments" and "improving every day," citing a longtime struggle with kidney stones.
Parton had postponed her six-date run at The Colosseum Theatre at Caesars Palace from December 2025 to September 2026 to deal with "health challenges".
"I've still got some healing to do, but I am on my way!" the musician said on Monday in announcing the cancellation of the residency.
Speaking with an upbeat tone, Parton said in the video message that she "can't be dizzy carrying around banjos, guitars and such on 5-inch heels - and you know that I'm going to be wearing them".
