At least 13 people were injured on May 4, according to police, after a mass shooting in Oklahoma.

The shooting took place at about 9 p.m. CT a day earlier during a large party at a campground near Arcadia Lake, just north of Oklahoma City.

According to the Edmond Police Department, the agency and Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to the shooting scene and found multiple victims. The barrage of bullets broke out at a campground in the area, The Oklahoman, part of the USA TODAY Network, reported.

Police said emergency personnel transported 10 victims to local hospitals from the scene, and additional people transported themselves to area hospitals.
