DONETSK, May 4. /TASS/. Russian forces have successfully destroyed nine reinforced concrete strongpoints held by Ukrainian troops on the outskirts of Novopavlovka, a key logistics hub in the Dnepropetrovsk Region. The operation was led by the commander (call sign Kemer) of the assault detachment of the 80th Tank Regiment from the Battlegroup Center.

"In my zone of advance, nine NATO-standard reinforced concrete strongholds have been neutralized," Kemer stated. He clarified that these positions were located on the southwestern outskirts of Novopavlovka, an essential logistical node for Ukrainian forces near the border of the DPR and Dnepropetrovsk Region.

Sergey Kulenkov, deputy commander of the same assault detachment, explained to TASS that Kiev’s disclosure of the technical details of these so-called "impregnable" strongholds contributed significantly to their defeat. "The Ukrainian side posted plans of these fortifications online, which enabled us to prepare effectively for the assault. The coordinated efforts of our artillery, FPV units, and other services made breaching these defenses much easier," Kulenkov said.

He pointed out that the Ukrainian forces’ main error was their overconfidence and boastfulness. "They presented these strongholds as an impenetrable barrier. From the outside, they appeared that way," he added.
